I ran FD with N3FJP (the FD version) and N3FJP logged just fine from JTalert (you enable ACLog in JTalert) - and never got the duplicate logs that went into WSJTx’s contest log because I did not recognize the caller fast enough and was using auto-log. Both N3FJP and JTalert were on the same machine using a 127.0.0.1 server.
I did not notice any WSJTx or JTalert checking for duplicates. In fact, I wondered why there did not seem to be a “find dupe” function as I had to find several in the WSJTx log manually. N3FJP’s log, by the way, had no dupes - they were ignored when I a 73 message was sent/received because I was not fast enough or needed to resend an (uncopied) 73.
