I have tested the FTDX101 with 1500 default ssb shift as previous advice
and reported TX and RX audio frequencies are correct against other known
good test systems. The FTDX101 pan display shows the worked BW to right
of centre, this is normal, but irrelevant when using the wsjtx pan
display in any case.
I have worked 20m with other +28 signals 50 Hz away taken down to -24,
invisible with the FTDX101 notch. It is a wonderful radio with wsjtx,
where the FTDX101 rx attributes shine.
The secret to good operation with the FTDX101 is to use Data-U, and set
the mode psk/data RPORT gain low, I use 7. This gives better linear
control of TX power (audio) on wsjtx to set alc for a slight movement
only, from rest for best results. I use 3 KHz BW , If you spread too
wide you can lose sensitivity, It is better to just use the vfo to go up
and down for edge signals.. I often use 1200 and 600 R filters on weak
signals (mine is fully loaded with filters, main and sub ). I also use
rig split, It all works great in recent versions. If you want me to film
a busy 20m waterfall here I can do it and post the link, yes ?

Hi Adrian,
It would be interesting to see your waterfall on a busy band like 20m. Also
all other bandwidth and carrier settings may be needed to make a fare
comparison and resolution what is "correct" for, say , widest reception
bandwidth and highest number of decoded.

The 'mode psk/data' data shift (ssb) was set to '1500' as default in recent
FTDX101.. FW update to address the issue complaints by wsjtx users on
earlier versions using 0 shift .
I have mine left at 1500, and I consider it correct.
