There was a bug in the FT991 capabilities which has been fixed.  Waiting to
hear if it fixes the chatter.
Still have another fix to do for non-targetable VFO B rigs to set mode on VFOB
just once.

Probably one for the main mailing list (https://wsjtx.groups.io/g/main) rather
than the dev mailing list
That said, can you describe your whole cable setup please? The issue may be
obvious.

That being said, this has been a problem for some time for me over the last
couple of hamlib releases and several WSJT-X releases. Mike has worked with me
a couple of times to fix this, but it never STAYS fixed.
When trying to TX in WSJT-X I get rapid relay clatter. Sometimes it's only been
when using flrig, sometimes with both flrig and hamlib, which is the case right
now.
Running Flrig + Fldigi works fine. Running rigctl{,d} and putting the radio in
TX works fine.Trying "Test PTT" in WSJT-X works fine
But anytime I try to make a contact or press the PTT button I get rapid TX
relay clatter. The audio is turned all the way down so it can't be too much
audio signal, and anyway that usually goes into TX fine and then shuts down the
radio when that happens.
Here's a link to the rigctl
