Hi Glenn,

I am lost with your problem, if any. On the operator's
point of view WSJT-X does not define any subbands. The
whole audio is just a single entity, and the Split
operation is totally automatic. You may select any audio
frequency pointing on the waterfall and Shift-click. At
the transmission wsjt-x applies a correct split
depending on the current frequency (subband, if you
like). 
You may also select any Tx frequency using Tx spinner or
typing the frequency into that field. The spinner jumps
one or ten hertz if you keep Ctrl down at the same time.
