Hello,

Weird (maybe not really, maybe just my lack of knowledge..) issue -
When we boot sles11.2 statelite node the boot process hang at some point
is rcons or wcons are not opened.
Once rcons is started, boot process continues with no problem.

Looks like the issue has something to do with kernel not able to logging
to /dev/ttyS0 and just waits there forever (we see this on the physical
console).

When removing the serial console settings from the nodehm table everything
works.
On my lab system with sles11.1 everything working with the serial console
as expected, no real differences i see in the kmdline, both looks
something like this -
kcmdline=NFSROOT=192.168.70.131:/install/netboot/sles11.1/x86_64/bsc-compute
STATEMNT=192.168.70.131:/gpfs/statelite XCAT=sn1:3001 quiet netdev=eth0
console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8r

Also, because its a large cluster we have consoleondemand set to yes (but
so as my lab system).

any help if much appreciated!
