I think I have my answer, looking at the EW (D) link in the PDF Roman
posted, there is a link to this document
http://www.fai.org/gliding/system/files/ew_annex_c.pdf which lists
approved GPS hardware to be used in conjunction with my type of
logger. Looks like the GPS in my PDA will not be acceptable.
