I don't agree at all. Satellite tracking is obviously superior, but
also much more expensive. I don't say that the IGC should prefer GSM
over satellite, but banning it entirely is simply stupid and
preventing low-cost tracking for many contests and contestants. The
way to go would actually be ADS-B or some other technology like that
as demonstrated in the netherlands already...
