Have any of you acted as a release manager for any project? I need
some help, either helping me do it, or merely pointing me in a direction…
To sum up:
Vote +/- on release 1.1 of current code, with the addition of a change
on the home page vigorously stating the deficiency of the docs (and
the need for help). 1.0 docs will need to be banished to a ‘previous
release’ section on the web site as well.

up until today, i wasn't sure people even were conversing on the mailing
lists. and to be honest we haven't tried it out. we're giving it a go
today, but i'm keen on helping.
