OK. Actually, IIRC, the Release Manager should be someone appointed to it by the majority of committers, so actually, to be strict to the ASF conventions we should first run a [VOTE] to let you officially take the job. After that it is enough to send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] requiring access to the machines you need.


I'd say wait until monday, then proceed. Meanwhile, please suggest a release plan: a release has to be voted too by the majority of the committers (and yes, we are 16 as of now: the new PMC charter will limit that to the active committers, who are much less than that, but until then we have to obey to the rules).
