Kimbro seems to be missing, so we may need to pursue access to the necessary resources ourselves. Robert Donkin has given me some helpful information regarding releasing a project...we'll wait a little longer to see if Kimbro pops up.
OK. Actually, IIRC, the Release Manager should be someone appointed to it by the majority of committers, so actually, to be strict to the ASF conventions we should first run a [VOTE] to let you officially take the job. After that it is enough to send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] requiring access to the machines you need.
I'd say wait until monday, then proceed. Meanwhile, please suggest a release plan: a release has to be voted too by the majority of the committers (and yes, we are 16 as of now: the new PMC charter will limit that to the active committers, who are much less than that, but until then we have to obey to the rules).
