Hi Glen,

You can have a look at the way BizTalk Server could handle your EDI- XML or ODBC-XML transaction sets. You will have to define a DTD format for each partner based upon the requirements and import in the DTD in the translation software. The software would then be responsible for importing the data from your application and generating appropriate XML tags. This can be transported through the web.
