You are right. We could reproduce this bug also on a machine with Java 
1.5.

Interesting. On my machine with Java 1.4.1 XXE starts another instance as 
described above.
It's all the same if I start the first instance with a command line 
argument or not.
Did you test it also with Java 1.4?

I also think that the two problems are not releated. It was just a hint 
and not 
a big problem for us in the moment unlike the problem above.

This happens only with 1.4. With Java 1.5 we get the dialog box.

The proxy configuration is the same as on the Java 1.5 machine.
