Normally no. Make sure that you have *Java 1.4_01* or higher installed on your machine (we got a similar, though more detailed error message, when we tried to reproduce your problem.) OR just install the big distribution with bundled (private) Java runtime. PS: The product and its install have been tested on Windows NT4, on Windows 2000 and on Windows XP Home.
