In principle, no. Which version have you installed? Is the file size correct or was it corrupted during download? (I'm becoming paranoiac). Is j2sdk1.4.0_01 OK? Can you run any other Java program? Have you installed XXE as a simple user or as the administrator? When using XXE, are you a simple WinNT user or have you administrator rights? If you know how to do thanks, send me the list of your environment variables. Try to run xxe.bat after slightly editing it (See manual install under Windows) rather than using launcher created by the installer. Thanks for helping us to fix this install problem.... PS: We have tested the install on Win NT4 SP5. So it is hard for us to understand why there are problems there.
