So RH7.2 seems to be the way to go in terms of peripherals. BUT did you install RH7.2 
out of the box and get a working X Windows ? OR did you install 7.2 and then need the 
rawhide upgrades with their associated problems in order to get a working X Windows ?

Neither have I. My previous machine was also a Tecra and it worked quite well in this 
respect.

I've been using my machine for a couple of months now and the keyboard hasn't been a 
problem.
