Hey Rodger,
I think your very first shot was on the target. I am using the
soft cursor option now. It did not lock even once after that. I have put
it into 150 MB of swap ( have 128 MB RAM ) and it did not complain at all
:). It was up for 2 full days and still no problems. I am quite happy and
hope that my happiness will stay. :)
Thanks to all of you for listening and helping. Now since all
seems to be well, I would be interested to know, why my machine locks up
with hardware cursor. Also performance wise I am not experiencing any issues
with soft cursor. Can anyone of you shed some light on the pitfalls or
advantages of running a sw cursor???
