For what it is worth, I also use the floss bags. They keep the floss clean,
and organized for someone as klutzy as I am. When I am actively working on a
project I pull the different colors and put them on a ring also. If the
project goes inactive for what ever reason, I put the colors back in numerical
order in my boxes until the project goes active again. I put them in
numerical order on my ring, and when stitching a pattern that has 20+ colors
or more it makes the color easy to find. And like someone said I can keep all
the smaller pieces to use for those one and two stitch problems. Psssst! (I
am tooo lazy to wind on bobbins, but don't tell the others)
