I use the floss away bags and love them. When I started stitching I was
looking for a way to store my floss and they were the first things I found. I
keep them in Rubbermaid boxes. They are about the size of shoe boxes with
hinged lids. I can store all types of floss in the bags and it gives me a
place to put the short pieces. I always cut my floss into useable lengths
first thing. Then I pull the bags I need for a project and put them on a ring.
If I am working a TW with lots of blends, I do a bag for each blend and write
the symbol and color combination on the bag. Eventually the bags wear out and
have to be replaced but I wouldn't switch to anything else.
