Too quiet in here. I need more XStitch chat to get my daily fix. I
print off the digest and read it at night after stitching time and just
before lights out. Got to get you guys chatting again.
Today's question - What Turned You on to XStitch?
Hello Tina and everyone,
Well, you asked for it here comes my cross stitch story.
About two years ago I did a lot of sewing e.g. making curtains, tie backs,
pelmits and cushion covers etc. Well at some point I must have mentioned at
work that I liked sewing, but never actually mentioned which type of sewing.
So any way for Christmas my colleague gave me a cross stitch set thinking
that was what I was into. I had never attempted any kinds of kits before,
so it went to the back of my drawer and there it sat all lonely like, until
the next Christmas came around, and boy did I feel guilty when the Christmas
card from my friend asked if the set had been finished ( I had moved schools
by then so we did not see each other). Anyway I went out a got a cross
stitch magazine to see how to do this cross stitch and started the kit and
WAM BAM that was me hooked. The kit is now framed and hanging in my house
along side lots more.
Hope to hear other stories from all of you so come on get writing.
