Okay, SIlly mistakes:

Most recent one: When I started English Garden Sampler in Oct, Nov, or Dec
(Can't remember exactly when I started it) I did not pay attention to the
fabric and stitch the outline to the border and the border itself. Then
realized before I stitched any farther that I had the fabric going sidewides
and the design would not fit that way. But at least with Teresa Wentzler's
that have borders, you can still turn the fabric and be okay. So I turned the
fabric to go in the right direction, and have not looked back since.

When I first started stitching, I started and ended my floss with BIG knots.
If a knot formed while I was stitching, I would try to untangle, but it was
not the end of the world if I could not get it out.

Used sticky boards to mount my needlework when completed. I have since learned
that it is best to lace and use acid free foam core. Although the first
mounted projects are not heirloom like projects.

I did not strip the floss before using it. If I needed 2 strands, I pulled off
2 strands and stitched. SO they were always twisted, etc.

have learned to love even weaves and waste canvas. Have not done anything on
aida for a couple of years now.

When I was first stitching, if I made a mistake counting, etc... I would just
throw away the project instead of trying to fix by eithering frogging the
mistake out or working around it.
