Whenever I need to set up signing or signature checking for a new archive (or mirror of an archive), I need to work in ~/.arch-params/signing/. I also modify ~/.arch-params/hook every now and then. It is somewhat unclear what the future plans for .arch-params/ are; there's been some talk about using xl for most/all config files, which to me seems to imply that it would at least be kosher (but not required) to hand-edit files in there. > Well, I'm not strongly opposed to renaming ~/.arch-log-lirary, I think > this is anyway "minor annoyance" Vs "other minor annoyance" ... > (especially since this is customizable ...) I agree it is a minor annoyance, and I'm not vehemently opposed to keeping the current name; after all, once I found out which knob to twist, it was easy to make things work the way I wanted them to. However, I think now (i.e. prior to the 1.0 release) would be a good time to change the default, if it ever is to be done. -- Harald
