I didn't try recently. I find it really nice in X11 mode. However, I'm often
working in text mode (ssh from home), and in that case, I think the old
*tla-{archive|category|branch|version}* are more useable than something using
tree-widgets. Keeping both seems to be a good option (But that's just my
impression and not a strong objection).
