1., 2. are o.k. for me.
It would be also nice to show the bookmarks via the tree-widget.
Something like the topic mode from gnus.
This feature would allow to manage a large collection of archives.

You are right, the more functions we have, the more documentation is
needed ;-).
I think, it is better to keep tla-archives and let it undocumented as
to remove it.
