I just had one thought about xtla-browse. We all agree that xtla-browse is great. It will take more importance in xtla in the future.
However, it still has two main drawbacks: * It adds a dependancy on tree-widget * It is mainly developed and tested with CVS GNU Emacs. There are probably many bugs in other versions of Emacs. For the 1.0 version, I'd like to provide as few dependancies as possible to xtla. Suppose the 2.0 version requires the-very-latest-revision-of-emacs-and-lots-of-extensions. Then, at that time, I'd like to be able to tell our users with an older version of Emacs: "OK, this version is not for you, but have a look at the 1.0 in our archives". So, I think xtla-browse full integration with the rest of xtla could be delayed untill the 1.0 is out. Afterwards, we can count on the integration in Emacs and in the main Linux distribution to manage the dependancies more easily for the user. Any opinion on that? -- Matthieu
