I think nothing should be added to the archive (that would make
cacherevs much bigger), but the full content of tree-widget should be
added to the tarball distribution.

I think all of this could go in some chapters of the current texinfo.

Roughly, I would see the structure of the manual as:

Introduction
Quick tutorial
Reference (but not too much details. The real reference should be the
          docstrings)
Xtla use cases

Your proposals could go in the last chapter.

We agree on that. We shouldn't do any big architectural changes untill
the 1.0 release. (Or our release cycle will look like the one of
Debian :-P )
