I should have dropped the part "the default for this could be 'own'" while
quoting you. My first reply was to mean "okay, let's add a field" and second
one (the +1) was "let's not break what exists too".
It's unfortunate that we cannot restrict the API more by default, but we don't
have a choice without breaking things.
