Sreenath Somarajapuram commented on YARN-4238:
----------------------------------------------
Hi,
Tez UI doesn't use modified time while querying.
But that said, I was wondering what might be the order in which we get back
records. For instance if I ask for 10 records.
- Would they be returned in the order of creation ? or
- Would they be returned in the order of modification? or
- Would it be just random?
> createdTime and modifiedTime is not reported while publishing entities to

> While publishing entities from RM and elsewhere we are not sending created
> time. For instance, created time in TimelineServiceV2Publisher class and for
> other entities in other such similar classes is not updated. We can easily
> update created time when sending application created event. Likewise for
> modification time on every write.
