Yes Cde Sabelo he worked at the presidency for about a year coming from the
very institute he is now, he worked there as a policy researcher and got
deployed back where he is now to spew the bile in the ears of the south
africans as a campaign to shift the public opinion to favour and defend the
proponents of GEAR. HENCE WHAT YOU LISTENED TO.

Comrades,

Who is Prince Mashele, did he really work in the Presidency before becoming an
"expert" on many things?. I am raising this because his commentary and his
questions in the TV program were problematic.

Maxabane, let us not invent and create unnecessary tensions amongourselvs. It
is clear that Cde Khaya's intention was not to populariseAnele and her show but
rather to keep us informed of developments. Surely, the matter of the Youth
Component of Shikota is something we cannot affordto ignore. We must be
informed of their plans, intentions andactivities, this will enable us develep
and apply correct, informed abdsuffcient strategies to counter and defeat
them. The second point i want to raise is that as marxist, we must
demonstratehigh level of tolerence, discipline and understanding. It cannot
becorrcet that we are only prepared to listen to what we want to hear.Marxist
have a repsonsibility to study different forms of topics, interactwith diverse
forms of knowledge and literature etc. Karl Marx dedicatedmany years studying
the writtings, anaylsis and conclusions of Dhuringbefore he could respond to
him with what is called anti-dhuring.I agree that we should be vigilant at all
times, but vigilancy should notbe equated to simple labelling and vallification
of others.Coming to the issues of Anele Mda and the new Shikota youth wing,
myintitial impresion of her is that she is an opportunist. I listened to herin
a debate on Special Assignment last night, the only issue she couldraise was
the Kill for ZUMA Statement. Even when the preseneter asked herwaht she is
going to offer to young people, her response again was thather party is going
to be a moral party which will not kill for Zuma.Preceeding from the above,
from a layman's point of anaylsis, it is clearthat the shikota youth wing will
be an organsation of no substance. Theyare not going to present young people
with any alternatives, they willmobilise on the ticket of morality, respect
etc, as if they themselvesare custodians of morality.
