Sure Mtshana Hope you enjoyed your holidays look I'm currently reading that Thabo Mbeki book but would like to get your view on the firstly the book itself but most importantly your view on the man himself. Do you think after have read the book yourself that the man was or is still is highly misunderstood? Do you think to a large extent all cadres who served with him really feared his intellect and independence above anything else and hence felt he was unmanageable. and also generally do you think that there was a plot to literally coz him jump from the ANC for whatever reason?
I haven't finished reading the book I'm in chapter 2 but i help but think that this is a man who could have been a great asset to the movement in whatever capacity but missed that chance. I also think that his personality rather than his policies drove away him from his cadre.More and more he closed himself out by not engaging them on a more social level. I'd really love to get Ur view on the man himself, do you think he is a difficult man to interact with or just plain arrogate. Give me Ur analysis on weather you think his exile yrs could have contributed to his current misfortune. maybe there's a deep disagreement dating back to the 60's. and many cadres have a bone to pick wit him just maybe. I dont know just give me Ur view!!!
