I dont think that any of the comments are from former members of COSAS. All
you are interested in is a personality and have not looked at the role
played by these young people in transforming and fighting for the rights of
learners and the transformaion of education.

Yours is an undertone of anger, as I avoid referring to hatred which has
caused Terror not to appreciate the rule of the majority, democracy. When
the learners choose one from their ranks and resolve to lobby and place him
in the centre as their leader, its not important whether you like him or
not. He remains the popular chaoice and the elected/ nominated one and that
is democracy in practise. Lets move away from being democrats in theory and
revolutionary when it serves our purpose, rather lets look at how we can
enhance and strengthen the role played by comrades like Mahlathini and
others, without maintaining arrogance of intellect and revolutionary
superiority.

Hope this might trigger honest criticism and open criticism that is meant to
build each other and not sow divisions and hatred from within the ranks of
the Mass Democratic Movement.
