Much has been said about Julius, but I must add to what has been said.
The statements uttered by Julius Malema at TUT Pretoria campus yesterday should be condemned with the serious contempt it deserves. There was no need at all for the President of the ANCYL to attack Ms Naledi pandor in that way.
I have raised it that Ms Pandor must vacate the office, she has failed to provide political direction to the department. She has failed to provide strategic leadership to education as a whole. However, I do not support or stand by the demeaning statements uttered by Julius at TUT.
He (Julius) found it within himself to attack senior members of the ANC in public. He sits in the same committee with Pandor at NEC. He never raised issues of education and the failure of Ms Pandor in that regard. Surprisingly, he found it fitting to insult the accent and mental ability and vision of Ms Pandor in public.
Such a behavior is not acceptable and cannot be justified. Much as we agree that government should intervene in matters of education, insults to those who represent the ANC in government cannot be welcomed. I think its time Malema swallow his pride and apologize to Ms Pandor for demeaning her character in public.
