has totally broken my system
the bootloader only stops at GRUB _
i booted with the install cd , pressed cancel at the installation screen
grub
root (hd0,0)
setup (hd0)
quit
reboot
grub loads the boot menu
however when i make my selection from the boot menu i get pure gibberish
i will include some pictures of the situation in a few hours
