Hi, over the weekend I spent some time reworking the blacksand installer.
The result is that we now have the ability to rebuilt ISO's literally within minutes. The idea is to get some discussion going on here on the development list how to improve the installer and the setup procedure. The ISO's can be found here: http://88.198.41.209/build The installer itself must ( at the moment ) be started with /usr/lib/yis/start-yis.sh . For the start it only contains the cli installer. The most urgent todo list I set formyself is : - get the installer work to press as much as possible enter only to proceed with installation - get locale setup functional - get graphic cards setup with their respective vendor drivers - setup network properly To be done by the end of the week: - Include basic kde packages for the ISO to have GUI available after installation. - make locale setup functional REMARKS: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE. PLEASE DO NOT REPORT BUGS FROM THIS INSTALLER INTO BUGTRACKER. REPORT THEM STRAIGHT AWAY TO THIS LIST!
