Tamara and I had a phone conference and I was able to guide her in updating Entourage and after she cleared space on her hd was able to rebuild. For anyone in this situation. If you need to update Entourage X and cannot because of database problems, move the Microsoft User Data folder to the desktop and then open Entourage X. This create a new blank Identity. Now you can update.
