I was really asking about the Connect response. Guess I'll stop checking every
couple hours. ;-)
Okay, this is just weird. I didn't know about the start-with-shift trick.
When I start Entourage with shift down, it works fine. It does NOT crash. All
my mail appears to be there, and it syncs with the Exchange server. If I don't
hold down shift, it reliably crashes four seconds in.
So this is a good workaround, but I'd sure like to know what the heck is going
on. Diane, thanks so much!
Would it make sense for me to export my data and start again with a new
identity? Most of my files are 'On My Computer' rather than the Exchange
server to conserve space up there. What's the preferred method?

Are you saying in a new Entourage Identity?

Holding down the Shift key when launching Entourage will disable all
schedules, but I'm not sure that will put Entourage into offline mode for an
Exchange account.
If we could get you in offline mode, you could export your data either as
Entourage archive (.rge) file or MBOX files.

Is the 4-5 GB of data in the folders "On My Computer"? If it's all on the
Exchange server, why not just use a new Identity?

News alert! Release of EWS final called on account of rain. <big grin>
