A few days ago I noticed that some (not all) of the junk email getting
caught by SpamSieve was not being moved from my InBox into my Junk E-mail.

The messages are getting marked as Spam but they are staying in my Inbox.
Sometimes they show up in the Inbox but when I try to click on them they
disappear. Other times they show in the count next to my Inbox folder "Inbox
(9)" but there are no messages in my Inbox.

>>> Has anyone else had this problem?

This problem started happening after I upgraded to Snow Leopard but not
immediately after upgrading. I ran under Snow Leopard for several days with
no problems. I tried doing a database rebuild but this did not correct the
problem.

I recently started using the app "Email Backup Pro" (which works great) and
it may be a total coincidence but this problem started happening after I
started using it.

I am running Entourage 12.2.0 in Snow Leopard 10.6.1. I see that there is an
Entourage update 12.2.1 available. I will try the update and see if that
helps.
