I'm fairly sure that the MS Office 2008 Test Drive was _not_ installed on this new MacBook Pro.
The only way I can see for MAU 2004 to have been installed is that MS installed it. I certainly didn't install it. But the statement that I should run only one updater at a time should be directed to MS. I did run only one updater. MAU 2008 called MAU 2004. MAU 2004 called MAU 2008, and round-and-round. I'd quit one, and it would call the other. I'd quit the other, and would call the first. The behavior happened on two different Macs.
