The instructions on the FastMail web site told me to enter INBOX for the
root folder. On my first connection, Entourage pulled the folder structure
from their server, the config I noted in my earlier post:

INBOX
   Drafts
   Sent Items
   Trash
   Junk Mail

This is different from the folder config created by the two other IMAP
services that I have used. For those services, the folder layout was flat,
with the Inbox at the same level as the other folders, one level below root.

I have to say that FastMail's instructions for setting up Entourage were
quite complete and easy to follow. Their system is working really well for
me, except for two glitches: this odd folder layout, and a tendency for my
sent messages to be detected as spam by Entourage's junk filter. I'm still
debugging that - I might describe it in another thread.
