But this is inexcusable, imo. BTW, I agree entirely with you
that people need to take responsibility for their own well-being.
This involves not idolizing the teacher and realizing that we
all have the innate capacity for recognizing our own Buddha-Dhatu.
Gotama didn't worship his teachers. IMO.
