Trust me on this one if you can.  There is no perfect mindfulness but just 
mindfulness.

Perfect mindfulness in the present moment is the concurrence of three states of 
mind in the present moment:
(1) A clear and bright awareness of experiences in the present moment
(2) A non-grasping and non-pushing-away of these experiences, and no sense 
of I/me/mine, nor of subject/object
(3) Nothing else exists in the mind, and in particular no thoughts, comments, 
judgments or evaluations
