Well, I don't know, not in my circles.

But I have never been a Tibetan or a Vipassana sitter. If you are a zen
student, you adopt the whole simple program. And, when you fall to the center
of the earth, compassion and wisdom come out clearly to you, and are extended
to all, naturally, without separations or distinctions. It is the most
wonderful but basic thing. Others know it when they see the change in you, and
sense how it affects them. Ask people's wives, or husbands. ;-)

No sort of analysis is a substitute for opening the door to this for ourselves,
and for others. The only reason for zen practice is to save all beings. If
it's easy to forget that, it's the reason we chant it every day.

Well, now you know more than I do about it. ;-)
