I was not speaking to all that. You can feel however you like about such
appearances, and are no doubt in good company in your judgements.
I was speaking directly to you meditation practice. If you cannot see
the blocks you throw into you path, meditate on your words below with an
eye toward attachments - aka intentions and expectations - aka karma and
suffering...

Hi Friend,
I'm sorry if I came across as overly serious. That wasn't my
intention, and actually I'm not such a serious person. I am pretty
serious when it comes to meditation however, because I've made some
real progress, see the road for what it is, and must constantly put
effort into it, which for me, is not easy. I come to this group hoping
to find like minded folks who may have found helpful insights. Perhaps
this being a mostly American group, I should expect most of the posts
to be nonsense, and most of the posters to be full of shit. I don't
mean this in a bad way, as I am American, and actually like my
countrymen, but it is true that americans are famous the world over,
for labeling themselves as this or that, slipping on the TV-ized
personality they think matches that character, and if they are lucky
enough and the role involves some kind of attention getting, halloween
type, costume to parade around, well then, so much the better.
Again, I'm sorry appearing too serious...in a zen forum. Now, would
you like for me to share some funny pics of my precious tabby,
swinging by its claws, from the crotch of my brother's pants?
