Not at all.
Busy methods are good for wearing us out; then, samadhi can come on, when we
are truly worn out.
In any school, I think. ;-)
If we're at the point of samadhi, then methods are moot.
Whatever it takes.
Zen-practitioner talking, not Vippasana, here.
The best is still to go on lengthy retreat, and to prepare for this by longer
and longer sits, every day, at home. Pick a method and STICK with it. Do not
change! "Picking and choosing is the disease of the mind", but picking ONCE
and persisting is not as bad as it sounds. '-)
