This is "understanding" business is just the fool walking backward
retracing his steps. The map maker drawing lines. Realized or not,
there is no other way. "You" are the illusion.
Who does a fool think he's fooling when acting so wise? The wise,
knowing themselves as, are not fooled into believing themselves otherwise.
Everything appears as 'illusion' when 'you' are stuck atop 'No
mountain'. This appears as profound revelation while breathing the
rarefied air at its summit.
