Joe, I would argue you care about your IDEA of cats, not the actual cats.
Only if the cats start choosing to be neutered themselves will I believe its the actual cats that are cared about.... This is easy to understand when put in personal terms. Would you yourself CHOOSE to be neutered without your consent? Would it not be criminal rather than compassionate for someone to forcibly neuter YOU? Why not apply the same principle to cats? Sometime in the future one or more of your kids might suffer. Thus YOU should be forcibly neutered? Then again maybe your kids might NOT suffer and it's almost certain they would get a lot of enjoyment out of life just like the little kittens you condemn to never being born, to never getting to enjoy their lives, to never even being able to suckle and cuddle at their mother's breast. The so called 'Humane' Society is one of the most INhumane societies around. Also try visiting their website. There is NO way to actually contact them there to report the abuse of any animal. I know, I tried. The only thing you can do on their website is send them money. Is there any oversight as to where that money actually goes? Into the pockets of executives I'd wager....
