Merle,
Wow! Again! Flashing kyosaku!
You know how to dish it out and dish it up.
Old Master Lin Chi did not do much better. And he had to use a real stick!
You "just" use letters and words on a flat screen. Kudos!!
Action-at-a-distance. No distance at all. Striking to the heart of things.
Glad you're here, Cousin.
Your internet-kyosaku stick is getting more and more deft. I gotta hand it to
you. No, you've already got a grip. ;-)
But let me say this: if the old fellow can't have anything else, let him at
least have his Fantasy (let's hope it's harmless: but at least there's the Law
to protect others, and punish him, should he, er, infringe).
Now, we also know that this is not Bill!'s idea of Compassion -- and he's right
to feel so or know so -- because he'll say that this is, instead, Joe's idea of
"Sympathy". Well, he's a little right. I also come from Compassion.
Merle, you're so correct to ask if the fellow has any daughters.
And Merle, funny; here you go, try this out under your gardening bonnet: here,
a jokey but wise definition in USA of a Conservative is:
"A Liberal who has a daughter."
Note, that our US President Obama has TWO!!
;-)

PS Merle, but a sad note in Edgar's revelation about his thoughts and feelings
is that he supposes that Compassion is giving people what they "want". Wow.
200 miles off-course, eh? In need of correction.
