mike..ever given birth? no your a man... you might think differently if you
were a woman...  choice...it must be available... why are you saying it must
not?... i know a woman  who had 4 abortions to her partner ..and wondered why
the partner want not to have sex... she was a bitch...he should have left
her...she ended up with his best friend by finding him on the net..he the new
partner has a kiddy to another woman the kiddy is 18..poor ex partner at 55 has
no kiddy thanks to his bitch ex how says a kiddy was too much for her ...it's
sad for him and i feel for him... why he clung on to the bitch is a mystery..he
still hangs around her... though now there are 3 of them... both the men look
very much alike... like brothers same age same height..same look...and she
prances in short mini skirts at age 55... all are highly educated... so what's
your take on her behaviour?..merle p.s. i am giving up on the animal verse
human...

Merle,

You tried to make a point about being morally superior by asking if I
acknowledge the animal being eaten (you failed miserably btw, as I have been
vegetarian most of my adult life). I'm responding in kind. Two can play at that
game! You seem to be saying it's okay to terminate a potential human life as
it's the woman's right to choose to abort. Yes or no?

Mike

Merle,

And what if she was raped or the foetus was in a vegetative state?

mike... her choice if she is stupid enough to get pregnant in the first
place..merle

Merle,

I became a vegetarian 20 years ago. If you care to go back into the archives on
this forum you'll see how I argued against the eating of meat. Since then I've
mellowed from those views in so far as its up to the individual to choose.
Killing an animal is different from eating what is offered to you *although* by
choosing to eat it you indirectly cause another to do the killing and this is
something that has to be considered. I've since recently reintroduced meat into
my diet, but plan on returning to a vegetarian diet soon. On all vipassana
retreats the food served is vegetarian and vegetarianism is encouraged, but not
enforced.

So, I take it you give thanks for every bite of meat that you partake. Yes?
Know any other animal that does that? Since you tried to make a point, what's
your take on a woman's right to choose regarding
 abortion?

Mike

 mike..
you just don't get it..so you do all the knocking....
have you had your lunch yet?..
did you give eternal thanks to the animal you devoured so you could have the
energy to type this message to the zen forum...?
 merle

Edgar, Merle,

You two should really knock your heads together! Edgar, you've just cited a
story proving my point and Merle chimes in with"Beautiful!". Like the Abbott
and Costello of the Zen forum..

beautiful edgar.... beautiful...!!!!!!!!... the point that joe cannot get his
head around is...tiger eat lunch...murderers kill for killing's sake..though
some have known to make it their lunch as well... being a burger for a tiger is
a good plan...merle

Joe,

Apparently you're ignorant of the story of the Buddhist monk who gave his body
to the hungry mother tiger to feed her starving cubs?
