I am not talking about Americans, I am talking about the Asians who invented and practiced Buddhism for the past thousands of years.   The DaLai Lama was recently here in Miami amid much fanfare, selling his DVDs, videos, cassettes, and making various speeches at various local Arenas and Convocation Halls.
