Dear PJ, My practice and study of Soto Zen is an effect of my Kensho. It is an explanation of it. It is not the only explanation of it, but it satisfies me. At least it put an end to the questions. One could play time games, and reincarnation games, and say in a past lifetime such and such, or the future made the present possible. I weary of such speculations though, and settle for the simpler all things made this happen. I would suppose one could say that all those who practiced and studied Soto Zen made this possible, but that seems to place them above the importance of the butterfly flapping its wings in China.
