If enlightment means the dissolution of ego, then enlightment
must be, necessarily, uncouncious.
I work as a bank clerk and I deal directly with the public. Now
and then I get cumplimented for being a nice guy. It is interesting
to notice that I usually get this kind of compliment when I am not
worried about being polite or interested. I am usually complimented
when I simply focus on the request made by the client and try to give
him five minutes of attention.
