OK, guys, I've done my homework on this site. It seems there is a
lot to be learned here, potentially a lot more if we could get over
the arguing. After going through the threads fropm the past six
months it seems some people are more concerned with being "right"
rather than having an open mind to different opinions. It's a
discussion group, not an argumentitive, put down group, right?
Besides, what does that prove? Does it make you feel superior? If
so, you're probably not in the right place. The Arrogant, Pompous
Ass site is on another page. I have eyes too; I am capable of
assesing what is useful and what is not. I don't need or ask others
to spoon feed my Zen to me. I'm still new to this site and would
like to keep with the group, but some of the comments and egos make
me question the motivations here.

   If I may be so bold to offer an idea. how about a daily concept
as homework to ponder, write about, and discuss. I understand that a
lot of Zen is non communicative, but discussion is why we're here;
it might be possible to help others than just ourselves. Who knows?
Maybe we could learn something too. Guy
